The feeling that the things that make you happy are inanimate objects? Am I materialistic, or just wanting to escape?

You know... like escapism.

I thought that I would get that from just video games, but no... it has to be something more. Sometimes I wish that I lived in the fantasy worlds in which I play in on my game systems.

Every other day of this week I've been working hard in trying to get myself ready for college. I am so excited to go like you guys wouldn't believe. I really want to go places and do things that I always figured that I never could do. I came so far... now I'm going to take my future into my hands, and go further. (cheesy but TRUE)
